Python Starter Terms of Use
Python Starter is provided by Dozen Network Technology Co., Ltd. By using the app, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.
1. Service
Version 0.2.0 provides local Python editing and execution, multi-file projects, local HTTP server projects, courses, and API references. No app account, remote execution service, or app-provided cloud sync or backup is included.
2. Workspaces and data
Projects default to the app’s private directory. Mac users can select an external workspace; iPhone/iPad users can expose the app’s Documents workspace in Files. Opening an existing workspace switches locations without merging the previous workspace. Course drafts, progress, and app settings remain in app-managed storage.
Deleting the iPhone/iPad app deletes its Documents workspace as well as private data. A Mac workspace outside the app container normally remains after removing the app, but authorization may need to be granted again. Deleting files or clearing app data can cause permanent loss. Keep backups. A folder provider may sync a selected folder under its own terms; this is not an app backup service.
3. Code and acceptable use
You are responsible for code and content you create, paste, or run and must have the right to use it. Do not violate laws or rights, bypass security, distribute malware, or conduct unauthorized access, attacks, or fraud. Your programs may send data to services you specify; you are responsible for that data and compliance with those services’ rules.
4. Runtime and open source
The app bundles CPython 3.14, the standard library, and selected packages including NumPy, Requests, and Flask, subject to their licenses and notices. Arbitrary pip installation and third-party native wheels are not supported. Device resources, execution limits, and platform restrictions apply. Local teaching servers do not constitute a production hosting service; continuous background operation and compatibility with every project are not promised.
5. IDE Pro and Learning Pro
IDE Pro is an optional one-time, non-consumable purchase for multiple local projects and full project management. It does not include Learning Pro.
Learning Pro is a separate non-renewing subscription for 1, 3, or 12 months. It provides access to the paid courses available in your region for the purchased period, not permanent access. It does not include IDE Pro; course exercises do not require IDE Pro. Access starts on the purchase date. Eligible repeat purchases extend remaining time as shown in the app. There is no automatic renewal or automatic charge at expiration.
Expiration does not itself delete exercise drafts or progress, but paid-course access ends. Restore Purchases reconstructs remaining access from valid transactions; it does not restart expired periods or recover deleted files. Apple handles payments, transactions, and refund requests under its rules. Prices, availability, duration, and benefits are those shown when purchasing.

To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee error-free operation, suitability for a particular purpose, or freedom from data loss. Results are for learning and debugging. We may update features and these terms for product, security, system, or legal reasons. Contact ministep@dozen.network.
