Python Starter Terms of Use

Updated: August 29, 2026
Effective: August 29, 2026

Python Starter is provided by Dozen Network Technology Co., Ltd. By using the app, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

1. Service

Python Starter provides local Python projects, code editing, execution, input and output, and beginner lessons. The current release does not provide an account, cloud sync, remote execution, or cloud backup.

2. Local data

Projects, source code, input, results, course progress, and settings are stored on the current device. They may be lost after uninstalling the app, clearing data, changing devices, device failure, or insufficient storage. Keep separate copies of important code.

3. Code and acceptable use

You are responsible for code and content you create, paste, or run, and must have the right to use it. Do not use the app to break the law, infringe rights, bypass security, distribute malware, or conduct unauthorized access, attacks, or fraud.

4. Runtime and open source

iPhone, iPad, and Mac use the CPython 3.14 runtime and standard library distributed with the app. Device resources, source size, execution time, and output are limited, and programs may be stopped when limits are exceeded. CPython and other components are governed by their included licenses and notices.

5. IDE Pro

Python Starter IDE Pro is a one-time non-consumable purchase offered through Apple App Store. Apple’s terms and systems govern payment, refunds, transactions, and restoration. The free edition may limit the number of editable projects.

6. Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that the app, runtime, or user code is fit for a particular purpose, error-free, or free from data loss. Results are for learning and debugging and should not be used in safety-critical or production contexts without verification.

7. Changes and contact

We may update or discontinue features for product, security, system, or legal reasons. Stop using the app if you do not agree to updated terms. Contact ministep@dozen.network.
