C++ Starter Terms of Use

Updated: August 11, 2026
Effective: August 11, 2026

Welcome to C++ Starter, provided by Dozen Network Technology Co., Ltd. By using the app, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

1. Service

C++ Starter is a learning and small-code practice tool with local projects, editing, compilation, execution, standard input, output, and compiler diagnostics. It does not provide accounts, cloud sync, cloud backups, or remote compilation.

The app is not a full desktop IDE and does not guarantee teaching, examination, employment, production, or specific compiler results.

2. Local data

Source code, standard input, and metadata remain on the current device. Uninstalling the app, clearing data, changing devices, device failure, or insufficient storage may cause data loss. Keep separate backups of important code.

3. Your code and responsibility

You are responsible for code and other content you create, paste, compile, or run. You must have the right to use that content and must not infringe intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.

4. Prohibited use

You may not use the app to violate law or others’ rights, bypass app or device security, create or distribute malware, conduct unauthorized access or attacks, or copy and commercialize the app, toolchain, branding, or content beyond applicable law and open-source licenses.

5. Open source and limits

The app includes LLVM/Clang, LLD, libc++, WASI, WebAssembly, and other open-source components. Their licenses and notices apply and are not limited by these terms. Resource limits may apply to source size, input, output, compile time, runtime, and other device resources; programs may be stopped when limits are exceeded.

6. Changes and availability

We may update, adjust, suspend, or discontinue features for product, security, system, or legal reasons. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain the app but do not guarantee uninterrupted service or compatibility with every device, codebase, library, or toolchain.

7. Disclaimer and liability

To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that the app or results are suitable for a particular purpose, that user code is error-free or secure, or that data will not be lost. We are not responsible for issues caused by devices, operating systems, compilers, user code, events beyond reasonable control, or violation of these terms.

8. Children, changes, and contact

Children under 14 should use the app with a parent or guardian’s consent and guidance. We may update these terms; if you do not agree, stop using the app. Contact ministep@dozen.network or Dozen Network Technology Co., Ltd.
